LOGO DESIGNS

Every client has different needs. In the logos you see here,
I have worked to develop an image that best protrayed their businesses.

Logo for an international exhibit of calligraphic art, held at the Folk Art Center in Asheville, North Carolina in early 2006. The exhibit showcased work from 65 calligraphers from 23 states and 8 countries. The work shows calligraphy at its finest, both traditional and contemporary applications. The catalog of the exhibit was published by Letter Arts Review.

Cold Smoke

"Cold Smoke" is the title of a book about skiing in and around Bozeman, Montana during the days of T-bars and rope tows. Edna Berg collected a number of stories from old-time skiers, together we edited it, and I designed the book. It was published in 1996 by Mountain Press in Missoula, Montana. It won a Skade Award in 1998 from the International Skiing History Association.

Michaelmas

Every autumn the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC hosts a fall festival called "Michaelmas" to share more than just the house with the many tourists who visit during these busy months. There are artists demonstrating (you might see me!) performers, and special foods on display.
The late autumn gardens are beautiful, and the house itself is always amazing.
This logo is used throughout the publicity for this event.
This design appeared in Letter Arts Review
